Kar Yee

Kar Yee graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) (Hons) in 2013. She commenced her legal career as a pupil at Messrs Benjamin Dawson under the guidance of Mr Benjamin John Dawson and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2014.

Following her admission, Kar Yee developed a strong foundation in civil and banking litigation. In July 2016, she joined the Temerloh office of Messrs S Ravenesan, where she has since built a specialised litigation practice.

Her current practice focuses primarily on personal injury and general civil litigation, where she represents clients in a wide range of contentious matters involving tort claims, banking disputes, and commercial disputes.

Kar Yee is also an Accredited Mediator with the Malaysian International Mediation Centre (MIMC) and a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Trainer. These additional qualifications allow her to incorporate mediation, negotiation strategies, and alternative dispute resolution approaches alongside traditional litigation when appropriate.
